Until recently, the three Vestas wind turbines of the Kats II wind farm stood at the foot of the Zeeland Bridge. These turbines are currently being replaced by three larger Nordex units that will jointly supply energy for 24,000 households. The new wind farm will continue under the name Oostzeedijk.

Verschoor’s wind team recently installed the first wind turbine with the Liebherr LG 1750 crane.
